I just realized that there's been a very seasonal recurring theme in the titles. Looking at that it seems that life is just flying by. Sometimes that's good, sometimes bad. With everything we've had going on, we really need to take time to slow down and enjoy things. It hasn't been all work, but I have been working alot, probably more than I should be.
My annual trip to the doctor included the "well you need to do more aerobic activity and eat a little better to bring your cholesterol down a little" line. I did join a gym back in May...been there a hand full of times. Nothing gets accomplished with that key pass hanging on my key chain (unless you go there and walk through the door). The thing is, I really do like working out. It's just hard to get back into it after being out of it for so long.
Lisa and I need to take a trip somewhere for a week. Perhaps someplace warm during a cool/cold month. We've talked about it for a while, but haven't really picked anything out yet...gives me some ideas for a possible birthday present. hmmm.
I do plan on making some of my famous salsa soon. There are a ton of ripe tomatoes and enough peppers that it's going to have to happen in the next week or less. The garden has been good this year although we really could use some rain. Good thing we don't pay for water, other than the electricity to run the well pump.
Guess I should try getting back to bed. I got elbowed in the side about an hour ago, waking me up from a comfortable sleep.
